Homelessness is a very tough situation to be in. Years ago people who were homeless were thought to be people who just did not want any thing better, and were generally frowned on by society. As our economy has began to worsen, we find that people who formally contrubuted to food shelters, or now in line to get food...my point is we are witnessing unprecedented shifts in society as we once knew it, The recession has unleashed an avalanche of financial woes on a great many people and the results are devastating......people who were once very comfortable are now in shelters, finding themselves homeless, needing a helping hand. A society is strong only when they take care of its weakest members....the homeless deserve to be helped ,and nurtured back into the mainstream of society. All of a sudden its not just the vagrants who are homeless, ...the truth is anyone can be homeless, at any time. Im sure that God wans us to help the homeless in any way that we can, some food, clothing, a kind word of encouragement, anything positive would be a great help....please remember the homeless, they are Gods Creation also!
